Who is DOnna Martin?
Donna Martin-Silver (born December 25, 1974) is a fictional character from the television series, Beverly Hills, 90210. She was portrayed by Tori Spelling. Donna was introduced in the first season as Kelly Taylor's best friend, and soon became one of Brenda Walsh's. In high school, she discovered she had a learning disability. She went with Brenda to Paris and was close to becoming a professional model.
Donna started out as a shy, awkward teenager. She became romantically involved with David Silver after they decided to take their budding friendship further at a dance. After they had been dating for a couple of months, David tried to get Donna to have sex with him, at which point Donna admitted to being a virgin and told him that she wanted to wait until she was married. David agreed to respect Donna's wishes, and they continued dating. David comforted Donna when she found out that her mother was having an affair.
The next year, Donna and David continued dating. David cheated on Donna during the summer, but he apologized and he told her that he loved her. Later on in the year, David tried to get Donna to have sex with him again, but she told him she wanted to wait. Donna agreed to have sex with David during the prom. However, Donna drank some champagne and got drunk. She was told that she could not graduate, but a student march and protest was organized and she was allowed to graduate.
The next year, Donna and David continued dating and David continued pushing the sex issue. David and Donna hosted a radio show as well. When Donna agreed to have sex with David, they got ready and were about to do it, but when they were interrupted and Donna told David that she wanted to wait, David was upset and he broke up with Donna. David started doing drugs, including crystal meth. Donna found out that David was on drugs and tried to help him. Donna and David got back together and continued to date. However, later on, Donna found David in the back of a limo, having sex with someone else. Donna then broke up with David.
Donna became romantically involved with Ray Pruit the next year. Ray played the guitar and he was a construction worker. Ray agreed to respect Donna's virginity, and he wrote a song for her. Ray told Donna that he wouldn't pressure her to doing anything she was uncomfortable with. Donna and Ray celebrated the holidays together and their relationship got more intimate. Ray took Donna to a rock concert and showed her his world. Donna got Ray to play at the After Dark, a night club.
Later on, a man named Garret Slan tried to rape Donna. He took her at knife point and was about to rape her, but David came to the rescue.
Donna dated Ray for a year, and he became abusive. He knocked her down a flight of stairs in Palm Springs but she lied about what happened and stayed with him. After she learned that Ray had cheated on her with Valerie Malone, she broke up with him (also citing his abusive behavior) and became involved with Joe Bradley, but Ray continued to harass her and Joe. After dating Ray and Joe, she got back together with David. When Garret Slan reappeared in Donna's life, David, who was now Donna's boyfriend again, protected Donna from Garret. Donna was later taken hostage at the CU TV station by an obsessed stalker. Donna comforted David when he was diagnosed with manic depression and had to briefly be hospitalized. David took Donna on a trip where he wanted her to sleep with him, but she told him she still wanted to wait. On graduation night, Donna told David that she was ready to have sex with him and they finally did.
Afterwards, Donna and David moved in together. However, when David forged a check using Donna's name, Donna broke up with him. She got involved with Noah, but they broke up later on and she got back together with David. David asked Donna to marry him and they planned their wedding. Donna and David got married and had a wedding shortly after David proposed.
Why the fanlisting?
When I was little I saw an episode of Beverly Hills 90210 and just fell in love with the show. It soon became my most favorite of all shows. One night I was watching it and my mom watched it with me. From that day on we watched it together. Now she tapes it on tivo and we watch it together after dinner. I just love every character on the show and decided to create one for Donna Martin.
Version 1 of She's the Boss was made by me using Paint Shop Pro 7, Microsoft Paint, and Notepad. The fonts used in the layout were default with my computer and the images used was found by doing an image search at google.com
